BOOK FEEDBACK

Why do we constantly live in fear of situations our government creates?

Why do we continually support out-of-control military and intelligence communities
at the expense of every other area of national purpose?

Where is the morality in wasting so many lives, resources, and community energy
on continuous war and corporate-government stealth?

W
hy is it acceptable for government and business leaders to lie to the common citizenry,
and to hide so much of their activity?

Everyone now sees that
Obama is no different?

For all the Obama campaign's talk of change,
Zbigniew Brzezinski, the Trilateralist founder and Council of Foreign Relations board member,
and, under Jimmy Carter thirty years ago, one of the original planners of our present Persian quagmire,
is a top foreign policy advisor to the president.

And banking leaders that have worked in previous Democratic administrations,
and together with similer positioned Republicans have contributed to bring us to economic calamity,
are Obama's financial advisors,
and have been given prestigious cabinet posts and other important positions in the administration.

So Republican or Democrat,
it's just more of the same banking controlled, TLC-CFR, New World Order of war and corruption.

Why accept the media’s worship and protection of these elite memberships,
of their agendas and their candidates who sit on both sides of the aisle in the great two-party charade?

W
hy is it OK that the media ignored the Ron Paul for President campaign from the beginning,
as well as Dennis Kucinich's,
though their respective parties' primaries weren't anywhere near settled.

And why are we supposed to trust voting machines created and placed by companies with records of cheating,
and with associations to incumbent elected officials.

Do our elections matter?

Does our media really inform us about anything of relevance?

How can one participate with hope and trust and expectation in such an overwhelmingly rigged game?

We, the ‘informed’ citizen voters of the United States,
are continually trained to focus on, and respond to,
the sanctioned political and entertainment diversions of the day
as presented to us by the ever-present corporate media.

Unfortunately, besides the gossip, the celebrity scandals, and commercial sports,
there are plenty of intolerant and even hostile divides used to occupy Americans’ attentions and concerns.

There are many conflicts, both real and superficial, used to separate us from one another.

Some of these dividing issues act as inherent rights or moral righteousness,
such as abortion, human origin, immigration, race, sexual orientation, stem cell research, weapon ownership, and others.

All of these divert attention from more foundational problems,
such as our unconcerned and capitulating attitude towards a criminal government,
an unethical economy,
and unaccountable military and spy industries.

They divert our interest from realistic solutions
for a peaceful, tolerant, and abundant society for all citizens.

Then, there are the government policies that are more or less forced upon us,
including corporate consolidation; failing food, drug and energy policies;
international trade agreements; military ‘assistance’; and totalitarian 'patriot’ laws.

Nothing in The Talk is new.
But, the perspectives presented are different than the common historical and societal assumptions,
and are too important to be ignored or dismissed.

The Talk exposes some of history's lies and hidden agendas.
It offers practical advice for living in the new 21st century.
And it suggests a much more beneficial discernment and worldview.

The whitewash of 9/11;
the deceits and unnecessary carnage of the Iraq, Afghan, and Drug Wars;
the empty promises and corporate-allegiance
of both the Republican and the Democratic leadership;
and the blatant theft by our financial institutions
have finally become too much for many people.

Yet there are still so many more
afraid to admit that our leaders betray us regularly,
and have been criminally and despicably doing so for generations.

And there are even more who know things are wrong
but will not risk changing their habits, allegiance, or position
to stand up to the madness.

The cesspool in D.C.
and in the other political and financial capitals of our united states
did not just appear during the present administration;
nor the one before it.

It is not a product of the Democrats or the Republicans.

It is a product of the Democrats AND Republicans.

9/11 was certainly a pivotal day in modern world history.

But who is writing that history?

Business and political allies have been using
the United States’ military and secret services,
the media, the education and charity systems,
and the charade we call elections
to influence and write history for over a hundred years and longer;
burying their many shameful crimes and manipulations in the process.

If all you do is sporadically change the actors in a stupid, lousy sitcom,
and keep the same stubborn writers who think themselves brilliant,
it’s still a stupid lousy sit-com.

If all you do is sporadically change the politicians, executives and bureaucrats
in a corrupt, morally-bankrupt system,
and keep the same stubborn non-elected policy-makers and organizations
who think themselves brilliant,
you continue to have a corrupt, morally-bankrupt system.

This is true no matter how much anyone denies or sugar-coats the blame of their party.

Charles’ purpose for this book is to give his children,
as well as those whose minds are fixed by the WSJ, Fox TV, and People magazine,
a different perspective than what they are getting about our government and our world.

His hope is that it helps some kids grow up less confused and alone;

and helps some grown-ups to take a closer look at a few of their cherished beliefs.
